This year has been challenging, but a year of learning, growth and compassion. The girls and I took time this first half of the month to process everything and do our due diligence to educate ourselves around the Black Lives Matter movement. As we ease back into our own content, we hope these posts can continue to serve as styling inspiration to ALL women. This month, we bring you our June Issue : Urban Safari.

You’ve probably been seeing a lot more of this lately from your fave retailers : cargo pockets, utility jackets, paperboy pants, hues of khaki, olive and beige. Well, if you’ve been following along month over month, you’ve learned these trends always stem from the runways. See the Spring 2020 Runway Trend “Safari” presented during last year’s fashion week.

Naturally, the girls and I are here for it. We’ve been obsessing over neutral tones individually and this collaboration proves that entirely. I’m loving how these looks all came together so organically.

I’m dying over this month’s look as I’m obsessed with each brand —

This jumpsuit (yes I decided to style another jumpsuit and I’m so not mad about it) is from a brand I’ve loved for some time now — STAUD — who happens to be donating 10% of all sales for the month of June to Color of Change. They focus on accessible, quality staples that are design-focused and seductively feminine (love their “about us” description). The jumpsuit is made of a lightweight stretch canvas comprised of linen, cotton and spandex. It’s breathable and fits like a glove. Quality pays off you guys.

The sandals (which happen to be on super sale) are from a London-based brand — Miista — that handcrafts each pair in Spain. I adore the funky, signature split toe detail. And yes, I can attest they’re walkable.

And last but not least, this structured beauty of a crossbody is from female-founded brand out of LA — ectu. I’ve had the pleasure of working with the co-founders over the last two years and can attest to the immense level of quality and design. The Italian calfskin leather/gold plated hardware/microsuede lining combo is dreamy.
