for curating a wardrobe you can feel proud of, creating a life you desire and living well.
The girl who’s on the go. Who’s living life on her own terms and isn’t afraid to say no. She knows what she wants. Manages to do it all -- family and career. Knows the value of self care and the importance of putting herself first.
I started The Grey Edit during the fall of 2016 on my birthday as an attempt to scratch a creative itch. I’d had several blogs before, documenting life and the learnings of growing up, but with this domain, I wanted to make more of an impact and connect on a deeper level with my audience.

During this launch, I had been working for almost a decade at a tech startup and had just transitioned into corporate retail. I always envisioned using my degree in Communications to work my way up in Marketing. But after spending time at what I thought was my dream job, I quickly found I was craving something more.

In 2018, I took a leap to pursue life as an entrepreneur -- which has been quite the journey. I wanted to find something to do in tandem with creating content and growing my online community. I tried my hand as a freelancer in web design, had a product idea in the wellness space, did some styling on the side and worked a part time job. Finally in 2020, something clicked, literally. I launched my photography business, The Grey Edit Photo, and it’s been the most fulfilling fit.

I’ve always had a love for style, taking photographs and documenting, but never imagined I’d be morphing these passions into a career. Now I’m honored to say I get to inspire women through my blog and celebrate them through my photography.

I was born in Chicago, raised in the suburbs and my family relocated to the great Pacific Northwest after I graduated high school. I attended Washington State University (Go Cougs!) and have lived in Seattle since then for over a dozen years.
I crave fresh air, balance
and adventure.
I’m a lover of neutrals, elevated basics and all the shoes.
I tend to over-share and spend at least ten minutes looking at a menu.
I live for new experiences and a good aesthetic.
An ideal day for me includes getting in a morning sweat, sipping my bulletproof coffee, checking things off my to-do list, spending time with my boys and enjoying a bomb dinner with a smooth glass of cab.
