September is here and I can hardly believe it as I type this. Let alone control my selfie…! It’s not hard to guess what this month’s trend story is. Our take on classic suiting — a little bit of flavor on your average wear-to-the-office suit and pant. This month we leveled up our suit game and think you should too — no matter what your office environment looks like these days.
Elisa, Mary and I bring you September’s Stylelogue issue : Suit Your Selfie.

We’ve been excited to come together to create once again. And even more excited for the season change ahead. This month, we decided to style two-piece suits that best showcased our individuality. You know, because you should always suit your selfie ;).
Tailored suiting will never go out of style — but what we’re seeing on the runways is a bit of a spin on your everyday suit. Longer and leaner. More flare. Short sets. Pops of color. A third piece like a waistcoat. Even skirts.
We paid a visit to the Seattle Selfie Museum downtown as the first visitors of the day to take advantage of some vibrant backdrops to add a little extra flavor for this month’s trend story… how’d we do?
I just had to go all white. I just had to stay true to my selfie. But to try a little something different, I wanted a short set. Thanks to Ann Taylor, I was able to pull off a crisp, all-white look perfect for the end of summer/labor day weekend. Note : thou shall not give up white after labor day.
I love this linen blazer — it’s well-tailored, a long and lean fit and an overall versatile, quality staple. The bermuda shorts were a fun pairing — with the length feeling v appropriate for the transitional weather. And lastly, the knit shell was the heavier, ready for fall piece that warmed up the whole look — literally.
Paired with some fave neutral leather accessories and those delicate, yet edgy chains perfect for any look — you’ve got yourself a neutral short suit set for Fall.

She made such a statement with this retro-inspired blue two-piece set. The colored piping adds a refined, elongating touch and the set fit her so, so well. And the red-bottom pumps gave this look her signature “E attitude” with some designer sass.

M is turning heads per usual in an on-trend set that’s a vibrant, muted tone for Fall. I love the oversized blazer and wide-cropped trouser. She dresses it down with a loose-fitting white tank while dressing it up with some metallic sandals. Brunette bombshell in marigold.
