Get To Know Me
Okay let’s talk some real talk —
I’m a blogger (if you didn’t know already) that went into this business to build a brand around my passion for all things style — a style blogger, rather.
And though the logical assumption about what a style blogger wears throughout the week would be a variety of contemporary, on trend outfits — for me, that in fact, is not very true.
If I’m not shooting outfits for this blog, dressing up for events around the city, going out on date night or with friends or traveling, I keep it rather casual Monday through Friday — rocking pieces I can work in. You know this is true if you follow my Insta stories — specifically, always, the morning and afternoon edits.
You see, my style blogging duties require me to bring you the freshest pieces, best brands, curated content and tips and tricks on how to find your personal style edit — mostly all from my computer.
And my entrepreneurial duties require me to be on the go, tending to my never ending list of tasks to cross off with people to see and place to be — accessible and mobile.
Mix that with the fact that Seattle is a place that welcomes casual, and you’ve got one great excuse to rock an elevated casual weekday outfit.
In collaboration with my favorite elevated casual brand, I wanted to give you a taste of how I spend some of my best weekdays here in Seattle — from morning to afternoon and night — with the brand I’m wearing around town the most.
… and provide a little discount code at the end of this post if you want to join the ROKWOLF movement!
A typical morning in Seattle starts around 8am — as I like to dedicate a solid two hours of time each weekday when I get up to practice self-care.
Once I’ve knocked out my meditation, writing in my daily gratitude journal, gotten in a little sweat and made my ulletproof coffee concoction, I’m showered up and getting ready to walk out the door.
WHAT DO I THROW ON?
Since the chill is beginning to make its way over here to the PNW, I’ve been throwing on one of my Layover Longsleeves. The pima cotton is like a warm hug in the morning, and I love, love, love the thumb holes. When in doubt, I go for black.
I love pairing this black top with the Burnt Olive Jetset Ankle Jogger for a nice ‘urban cool’ vibe.
WHERE DO I GO?
I love doing podcast walks with Smalls. We’ll throw on our gear, head to a coffee shop in the neighb, and walk around for a solid 45 minutes. It’s a win win for both of us really — he gets air, I get input and we both get our bodies moving.

Once Smalls and I get our self-care done and over with and are rejuvenated from both fresh air and caffeine, I drop the little boy off at home and jump in my Mini Coop to seek out a place to set up shop to work.
WHAT DO I THROW ON?
You know I’m not taking off those joggers — they’re perfect for wearing ALL day. No joke. Watch me. So nice I got them
twice (three times).
I’m loving this new Stone Grey color way that just launched this month! It goes perfect with a white or black tee (or the matching District Tee) and my favorite pair of white sneaks. I’ll bring a leather jacket if it’s cold — which makes the look perfect for city wanderings.
WHERE DO I GO?
Depending on how much caffeine I’ve had for the day, I’ll likely pop into a favorite coffee shop in another neighborhood. Or enjoy a healthy lunch at a place where I can work alongside enjoying my meal.

Well by now I’ve hopefully gotten in a solid 4-6 hours of computer work and I’m on my way back home to change and hang out with Trevor.
Though he’s probably exhausted after a long workday, he’s always up for an excuse to do a casual happy hour or weekday date night around the area. Trying new bars and restaurants is our jam.
WHERE DO I THROW ON?
The most amazing thing about these very wearable joggers is that they’re extremely versatile. As you can see I’ve been able to pair them with a matching top, a favorite tee, a jacket and even dress up a bit with a duster and heeled mules. I love rocking the black for evening — because that’s just how I do. And no doubt Trevor throws on his black joggers to match me. Because we cute like that :).
WHERE DO WE GO?
Today’s work has made us thirsty for a drink, that’s for sure! So it’s likely we’ll take advantage of some of our trusty happy hour spots or turn it into a drinks and dinner kind of night. Either way, we’re walking to or ubering to a space where we can unwind and connect about our day.

It’s no surprise I’m obsessed with this brand (read the full love fest here). When I first learned about them, I fell in love with it all — the story, the husband and wife founders, the style, manufacturing and premium Pima Cotton fabrics.
I’ve had so many people reach out on DMs about my daily edit posts asking about the pieces and those who have ordered are straight raving about them — and I know you will too.
If you’re ready to join the elevated casual movement, use my discount code compliments of the ROKWOLF founder duo — TGE15 — for 15% off your first order at checkout.
They have tops ranging from tanks to muscle tanks to tees to long sleeves that pair sooo well with the joggers. And also the colors are all those I can stand behind — perfect for mixing and matching with your existing wardrobe: matte black, midnight blue, stone grey and burnt olive.
Thanks for following along an ideal day in the life of Cortney 🙂 (and Smalls + Trevor) — stay tuned for the next post that’s part of this three-part travel series with ROKWOLF.
