As December started creeping in this year I found myself not really obsessing over anything major that I wanted…

Well maybe except for one thing. 

I’ve been back and forth on the combat boot trend. I saw it creep in at NYFW and knew there would be styles coming left and right to my favorite retailers. But I wasn’t dead sold on it. 

Now, several months into seeing gals style with their fall and winter outfits, I’m itching for the perfect pair. 

A pair that has the edge, a bit of chunk, some contrast detail and one I’ll be proud to sport this winter. Plans for pairing with chunky sweaters and denim, my down parka and all the scarves. 

For my birthday last year, I was given the black and silver beauties above which I set aside as my BAMF boots. As you can see from the options below, I’m leaning towards a boot with more white or tan detail.
