I’m pretty picky with prints. This rings true especially when it comes to floral prints. It has to be the perfect pairing of colors and the right overall hue. You’ll learn, I’m not one for much color.
That’s why when I saw this dress at Zara I knew it had to be mine. It’s perfect for fall – a shirt dress essentially – short with long sleeves, a raised collar, and just the right amount of detail in buttons and lace. And the colors? I’m obsessed. Also obsessed with all of the other fall dresses Zara has right now. Fall is simply the best – you dress warm and show a little leg at the same time ;).
The boots by the way are one of my favorites. I scored them last season at the rack (you’ll hear about my lucky rack finds, well, always) and at first thought they were a little too posh for my style. Now I laugh because I just want to be in them every day. The perfect heel height — boots made for walkin’. I wish Jeffrey Campbell made them still so I could share the wealth, but don’t worry, there’s plenty similar out now.
I wore this dress on my 31st birthday night, out to dinner with my husband. He’s not one for prints either, but when he saw me and told me how pretty I looked, I knew he approved :).
