The iconic “H” greecian inspired sandal made of box calfskin with a hazelnut lining and leather sole. The perfect slide sandal made in just about every color that brings an element of casual cool to any outfit.

Well, ever since I saw Jacey of Damsel in Dior start rocking the gold piqûres écrues color last year, I have had a mad crush on them. Like, could not stop thinking about how I could get my hands on them at a more affordable price.

I’m all about a good splurge on a designer shoe — but for some reason I’m not there yet with flats or sandals. A chunky bootie or a beautiful heel? Yes. Because these will likely sit on my shelf for the majority of the year with pop ins of wears. Slide on the other hand — I can see myself wearing often, and quite frankly decreasing the value by wear and tear.

Someday this may change —  but for now, let’s talk knockoffs, shall we?

The Greecian Sandal by Steven

Though I feel I’ve graduated as a 32 year old from my Steve Madden shoe wearing days, I can get down with the more mature sub-brand Steven.

Case in point : this greecian sandal that arose this year for poor souls like you and I really itching to get our hands on the Oran.

Made in Italy with a lining and insole made of leather, these knockoffs are actually of incredible quality and status. Yes, there’s a rubber outsole, but I’ll take it for the look and for the remaining materials this is made out of. These bad boys (which I got in two colors) will last me all Spring, Summer and then some.

My favorite is obviously the cognac leather, for obvious reasons of wanting to be Jacey. But I also love the white (which I splurged on) and black (because who can’t use black). But then there’s the unique rose gold — for those who wish to dazzle their feetsies.

The best part? Rather than dropping a whopping $700 dollars on slides to add to your sunny weather wardrobe, these lovelies cost under $100. $79.95 to be exact.
