Talk about a surprise! This weekend I woke up Saturday morning to get ready for a casual brunch Mary of Sportsanista had invited Elisa of E for Elisa and I to — for a chance to enjoy the weather and her awesome downtown Seattle rooftop.

Well little did I know these two were planning a surprise baby shower for me along with the other amazing bloggers I’ve met throughout these last few years. I was shocked to say the least! And seriously oh so touched inside.

It was the perfect morning enjoying the city and water views, sipping on mocktails and catching up with gals — the setting and decor were beautiful.

I’ve talked about this before, but hands down the most rewarding aspect out of this entire leap to full-time blogging has been the community I’ve been so lucky to have formed and created friendships with.

The extent I’ve been able to collaborate with Elisa and Mary has been more than I’ve imagined possible. We’re on our seventh month of our trend series Stylelogue and the ideas are still flowing. I couldn’t believe they would go out of their way to organize a group of the amazing ladies I’ve had the chance to connect with and get to know on a deeper level outside the gram. And I can’t thank each of them enough for making me feel so special…
