February Issue : NAADAM Knitwear

I’m firm believer of investing in quality basics for versatility — “elevated basics” as I like to call them. This month is all about those elevated basics in the form of knitwear, a cozy trend we’ve seen pulse through over the winter months. The more layering of knits, the better. And bonus points if you’re going for quality… which brings me to a new “brand to know“, NAADAM.

NAADAM is a direct to consumer brand that brings high quality, sustainable and incredibly soft knitwear to the masses at a fair price. They source cashmere from the Gobi Desert in Mongolia and work directly with herders and their goats (yes, cashmere comes from goats). They pay a bit more so we can pay a bit less. Plus, they’re hands-on in their approach, ensuring responsible and crueltry-practices throughout their manufacturing process. I’m so honored to be working with a brand that’s made cashmere more accessible while improving sustainability throughout the industry.

About My Edit

These days, I’m a “mom-on-the-go”, which means I go for ease. I chose to style this long sleeve sweater dress that I knew would offer an assortment of styling opportunities — dressing up or down. Down with leather sneaks as shown, up with booties and a leather. For an everyday classic knitwear look, I opted to style with this cropped sweater — for my favorite monochrome vibe. Keeping it real, I threw on my favorite leather backpack I often pulse in as a diaper bag from local emerging handbag brand, FERAL.
