When it comes to travel and style — I keep it pretty consistent. I’ve learned over the many years of driving to the airport, waiting in the airport, sitting on a plane and getting in a cab to my destination that there’s only one important thing — staying comfortable.
Regardless of the destination or duration, I just want to be able to relax, enjoy the ride and worry about what outfit to wear to suit the location after I land.
So how do you maintain your style while staying comfortable?
Easy — keep it cool with elevated casual wear.
Even easier — rock some ROKWOLF.

As I get ready for my flight home from Chicago to Seattle after a long weekend and in collaboration with my favorite elevated casual brand — as part of a three-part series — I’m sharing the deets on how to pull off the ultimate travel style, while sharing some of my favorite hacks for the journey.
… and provide a little discount code at the end of this post if you want to join the ROKWOLF movement!
Let’s face it — ever since joggers became a “thing”, I’ve been pretty sold on the fact that they’re just something I want to live in.
Live in during the morning when I’m hanging around the house… throughout the day when I’m running errands… in the eve when I’m taking Smalls for a casual neighborhood stroll or grabbing a bite out with my boo… and, on the plane.
Because who wants to travel uncomfortably?
On top of that, joggers can be styled “hella cool”. That’s right — west coast approved cool. The kind where you kinda just want to be seen in public.
But as I’ve mentioned before, I’ve had a hell of a time finding the perfect pair of joggers — they were either too loose in the butt, too tight in the calves, and just not elevated enough.
Which is why finding ROKWOLF has been a straight game changer. They’ve created the perfect jogger for living AND travel — the Jetset Ankle Jogger.
The Jetset Ankle Jogger meets all of the essential elevated jogger requirements across each of “the three F’s”:
FABRIC
FIT:
FEATURES:
And did I mention they come in three colors? Yup. I have one of each — and the outfit combinations are ENDLESS!
So back to what to rock during your travel…
The obvious Jetset Ankle Joggers can be paired with any of your favorite tees or tanks — or better yet, with any of ROKWOLF’s:
I’m into the muscle tank because it’s a great layering piece for the plane. A higher neck and open in the armpits — because you never know what temp those aircrafts are going to be set at.
Pair it with your favorite leather or hooded jacket + your comfiest / coolest sneaks, and you are ready to be looked up and down in the airport (in a good way), ready for takeoff, and ready to land in your new destination.
Now that you’re set with how to dress stylish during travel, let’s talk about some quick s p e c i f i c hacks to guarantee one delightful ride.
Because we should always be learning. Intake, intake! My recent faves are The Skinny Confidential Him & Her (business, entrepreneurship, skincare, sex, wellness), Almost 30 (entrepreneurship, wellness and self-development) and Bulletproof Radio (body, mind, biochemistry, health, wellness).
Because when you need to get some Zs, you need something to shut out that light. There’s nothing worse than being in the middle seat, on a red-eye, and your window friend keeps the shade wide open so he can watch the sun rise. I mean, it’s great and all, but rest on a red eye is better. I’m obsessed with this silk beauty.
Because recycled air, and germs that linger. If you wipe down your seat and tray table, you’re better off not catching anything from your fellow passengers. Also, studies show that if you sit by the window and don’t get up, you’re less likely to catch anything. So try to be mindful with those plane choices.
Because staying hydrating during travel is key! When you’re way up in the air, your body and skin become very dehydrated, so bring a bigger bottle of water. Sure, they’ll serve you a cup or two, and yes you can bring your reusable bottle — but in my experience, I’m more likely to chug a Smart Water on a flight and after I land. It’s like a mini game 🙂 and then I recycle!
Sure popping an Airborne is a great way to ward off any potential sickness, but integrating essential oils into your travel day is the elevated way :). I like to carry peppermint oil for soothing and relaxing the stomach, sage oil for antibacterial / antimicrobial use of washing your hands, tea tree oil for any potential bumps or scratches you might get and finally rose oil facial spray for emotional support and hydration of the skin and face.
It’s no surprise by now that I’m obsessed with this brand — read the full love fest here and their amazing brand story here.
So if you’re wanting to join me and many others in the elevated casual movement, use my discount code compliments of the ROKWOLF founder duo — TGE15 — for 15% off your first order at checkout.
Thanks for the read — and happy travels :)!
