Activewear. Gym or no gym, it’s a look that’s basically now accepted everywhere, and I won’t lie – I take complete advantage. Shopping downtown — activewear. Walks with Smalls — activewear. Trips to Home Depot with Hubs (which we did this day)— activewear. PS If you haven’t seen the parody on activewear yet, please watch this now.
If you’re into activewear, you’re likely buying separates and outfits as you find them. And when you’re ready to wear the outfit or several separates, you’re probably thinking, “can I pair brand x with brand x?”
Despite what some may say, IMO there’s no right or wrong answer. Everyone has their own style, which they should embrace no matter what.
If it looks good to you, wear it.
If you feel good wearing it, wear it.
But if you’re asking Trevor and I if you can wear Adidas with Nike — the answer is yes.
Though it’s been frigid AF, we’ve been trying to take advantage of the sunny days we’ve had in Seattle and take Smalls out for little walks. During last night’s walk, Trevor and I broke in the new Adidas NMD XR1s I so secretly placed under the tree this Christmas as a his and hers gift. Seriously guys, the Adidas sneak game? It’s ADDICTING. Especially the much sought after NMDs…
I styled my pair with the new Nike jacket I got for Christmas as well from my mom – who totally nailed it in the activewear category! I’ve had my eyes on it ever since my insta idol Mary Seng rocked it here.
Trevor, though only present from the bottom half in this post, styled his pair with the Lululemon Joggers he loves and lives in. Which really I don’t mind at all — they make his butt look fantastic. Tee hee :).
What’s your favorite activewear outfit? Does it include Adidas sneaks?
PS — if you’re looking for ADIDAS NMDs… the secret = ebay. Your welcome!
