Brand to Know // Ganni

I first learned of this Danish brand when Nordstrom launched its SPACE shop for emerging designers. Ganni was included in the mix, offering an assortment of playful and elevated Scandinavian style pieces. The label puts out clothing and accessories with contemporary attitude that make a statement.

The reason I’m drawn to Ganni, along with many other style seekers, are because of the gorgeous dresses the husband and wife duo create. Dresses that are meant to be styled with sneakers and flaunted on the streets. The quality is next level and the variety in every design is guaranteed to make any head turn.

Though the price point is rather affordable compared to most emerging designers, I tend to keep watch for sales (which is how I scored this first prized piece featured here months ago). And friends, right now there is quite the assortment of Ganni at a great price. Sharing some of my favorite below by color story — perfect for the warm weather months.

Breaking Down the Edit //

I was so excited to bring this Ganni red floral wrap dress to NYC this last week as I won an invite to Longchamp’s LGP launch at their 5th Avenue Store thanks to Krystal Bick of This Time Tomorrow. Trevor and I had some fun with the crew from Midtown to SoHo and enjoyed refreshments, a double decker tour bus and a multi-level activation featuring our favorite — a silent disco.

Alongside the vibrant dress, I rocked a new (yet old) pair of Giambattista Valli slingback pumps that I scored at Upper East Side consignment shop — Designer Revival. Though I can’t quite find this exact pair online, here are a few similar consigned options via Roger Vivier, Celine and Giambattista.

Styling the look with my Strathberry East/West Mini was appropriate. The gold accents on this crossbody scream 5th Avenue. Paired with my favorite pair of cat-eye statement sunnies and a few gold accents — I was ready to face the town in my Ganni.
