There’s nothing cooler than being able to put on a leather jacket, a pair of buckled boots and some killer accessories that can turn your pretty innocent face into straight up badass.
H e l l o m o t o .
Last week I met a friend for lunch downtown and we decided to explore the area around the new Seattle Spheres before we grabbed a bite.
Talk about being a badass — Jeff Bezes decided he’d drop three large balls in the middle of Seattle’s emerging downtown to create buzz, excitement and attract the masses before, during and after work.
What used to be a semi-quiet 6th & 7th Avenue is now an incredibly built up and beautiful area made up of new restaurants, quick lunch spots, dessert shops and more. Favorites of mine include: Marination for tacos, Evergreens for a hearty salad, 2120 for after work drinks and dinner and Kiki Ramen for, you guess it, ramen (which my gf and I ate this day).
If you’re in the downtown area — this new Amazon Land connects South Lake Union to Downtown to Belltown and it’s a definite must visit if you’re looking for food and drink.
And oh! The new Amazon Go store is right there too — which is literally a trip. Walking out with hummus and a bottle of wine without interacting with a cashier or getting out your wallet?
Cray.
Like I said, Bezos has balls.
But let’s talk about how to show you have balls as a sweet but badass woman.
The recipe for this hard-core savage look is quite simple really.
It requires layering black on black and a mix of materials that showcase grunge and attitude.
Here’s how to do:
A faux leather jacket over a sexy lace cami tucked into a cropped pair of black skinnies.
Pair a pair of head-turning sunglasses, wrap a chunky black scarf around your neck, grab a circle handbag and put on your super studded boots with buckle detail.
With shades on and a smile that comes out only when you want it to, you’ll be doing moto.
The look that’s so Seattle. So grunge.
… and as fierce as the spheres.
Like this look? Feel like a badass when you rock it?
Would love to hear how you moto in the comments below!

Hi babe,
I love this all black look–it is BAD ASS for sure and the moto jacket and those booties sure set the tone. The glasses are the cherry on top! Awesome outfit!
