Let’s get right to it…
Watches.
I never was too into them.
When I was younger I def had a good ol’ chunky Casio. Post college, most defnitely the also chunky (but metal) Michael Kors.
Now, as I’m in my thirties I have such a love for them. So much I wear one every day. Thank you watch-obsessed husband.
Speaking of him, he’s the one that got me my first ever nice watch. The gold Fendi you see above. It was for Christmas after we had been dating for only a couple of years. He was adamant I upgrade from the Marc Jacobs one I had matured into.
I have just about worn this gold watch every day since he gave it to me, and now have expanded my collection to these three in which I alternate. All good quality, all ranging in price, all covering the spectrum of needs from casual to dressy, silver to gold to leather.
As I was deciding on which out of my trio to bring with me to Chicago, I felt inclined to create a post on five of my favorite watches.
If you’re in the market — or don’t even know where to begin. Start here.

The Mesh Maven
The perfect everyday watch that pairs with your jewelry. I love this brand because it offers beautiful design, a low price point and a very elevated look to any outfit. Match this watch with your silver, this one with your rose gold and this beauty with your black.

The Casual Business
This brand is a new fave. Bold leather straps mixed with a classic modern round face. I love the simplicity and perfection of this black and white find.

The Sassy Sport
Every girl loves this brand. Well, I didn’t at first. But when I started to explore the Urban Mini line, I grew fond of the style. Perfect for small wrists like mine, and great for a sporty look. I’m really digging this white gem. The best part? You can switch out the bands… heyyooo.

The Statement Maker
Trevor got this brand of watch when we were in Italy. It was so special. We always try to add a new watch to our collection when we travel abroad so it’s meaningful. I’ve recently started admiring the women’s styles once Nordstrom began carrying them. And wow — I think this silver watch is the perfect mix of sophistication and class. Can be worn as every day and will give you that ounce of cred you deserve.

As I get older… the more valuable time seems to get. Why not watch time pass by with a nice watch on your wrist. 🙂
Happy Friday all.
