What I’m wearing  —

So I’ve been on the hunt for a leather vest for literally like a year. I’ve bought three and didn’t like any of them. Finally, being patient and holding out has had its advantage. I’m really slacking on the monthly beat edit playlists, but don’t worry, they’re brewing. You can expect this song to be on January’s. This steady beat that makes you feel like you’re sitting on the beach at sun down, sipping a coconut cocktail, hair blowing in your face. Is it time for vacation yet?

Who I’m crushing on Insta —  

So she’s prob going to say “Cort — you should have waited!” but if you know me, I’m antsy ;). Friends — you have to follow @carraraandgold on Insta!!! Tiffany is my work twin and friend who has the best interior style. She’s been contemplating starting a blog for some time but finally pulled the trigger (check it out!) and I can’t WAIT to see what cooks up. Her style is a mix between modern and boho and when you go to her place it just makes you smile. Be prepared to be inspired as she evolves her brand and blog — we’re planning to have many working sessions together and I’m oh so excited!

Anyone down for a Target trip today? I saw a few of my favorite bloggers wearing these slides and I got curious so had to check them out myself. How cute are these white slides?! And the price! I mean — hello! Perfect for transitioning from Winter into Spring and the metal detail is just the right accent. These would be so cute with a distressed pair of boyfriend jeans. What I listened to this week — 

He’s the cutest designer you ever did see who had the most playful modern style. Jonathan Adler stars in this podcast where he talks about how utilizing yourself and being open to opportunities that come your way throughout life can lead to great success and luck as he’s encountered. I love this podcast series. It’s inspiring to hear how hustlers followed their passions and designed their lives to be around doing what they love.
