Blogging is so funny. As I’ve passed the half-year mark into The Grey Edit, I’m definitely finding it goes in waves. One week I’ll be cranking out blog posts like it’s my job. The next I’m hiding out in my house watching Netflix shows avoiding my iMac at all costs. So not consistent. What does remain consistent however is my hunt for a good deal. Tomorrow marks the official two week countdown to our trip to Portugal & Spain and I have been plotting and planning those vacay outfits. My wish lists are full, my door step has been averaging a few packages a day and our itinerary is growing as we plan for our upcoming adventure.  

I’m trying to make sure each piece that gets packed in my carry-on for this trip packs a punch. Reminding myself that I have enough monochrome items and to live a little. I’ve always been a heel girl – 3.5″-4.5″ standard. Then this year’s Spring trend happens and it’s all about comfort: the loafers, the block heel, the slide with a low-ish heel. This outfit though has me feeling the soft colors so hard that I couldn’t resist to pair this beautiful teal color with the outfit. Swoon!
