It’s Earth Day today which, though we should be conscious everyday, serves as a reminder to think about the impact we have on our planet.

I’ve been making an effort to cut down on the unnecessary things that I’ve filled my life with over the last several years by purging and donating so that others can benefit from recycled treasures. In addition, I’m vowing this year to be more mindful about the brands I purchase from — ensuring I support those that stand behind good values and have a minimal carbon footprint on this earth.

Online retailer that was founded to sell basic, stylish apparel with transparent pricing and manufacturing practices. They create the best essentials at the best factories without the fluffy markups.

H&M Conscious Collection

Beloved retailer H&M just launched a Spring collection with a vision for a sustainable fashion future. They use three sustainably sourced materials : ‘Bloom Foam’ – a flexible foam made of algae biomass, ‘Piñatex’ – an innovative natural textile made of pineapple-leaf fibers, and ‘Orange Fiber’ – made of citrus peel from juice production.
