I’m basic. My go to outfits always consist of black. The color simply makes me feel confident, stylish and bold.
Having a Staple Black Dress
When I came across this black jersey dress at Nordstrom Rack from The Fischer Project, I knew it had to be mine. The high neck gives it that posh touch and the length makes it a perfect transitional dress to Spring.
I’m loving how much use I get out of it – so many jacket opportunities! Bombers, leathers, and trenches — oh my :).
I strongly urge you to grab a jersey dress of your own if you don’t have one already. If you’re a basic, black-loving gal like me, it’s the perfect piece to add to your closet.
There’s a craze going on and it’s called Korean fashion. Nordstrom has totally jumped on the bandwagon this year bringing a three-part series in the form of a pop-in on all things Seoul style.
First it was the celebrity crazed Korean sunglasses brand, Gentle Monster. The retailer held the requiem themed pop-in this January and I couldn’t help but take advantage. The sunglasses offered a unique look, especially the pair I landed on that has lenses covering the rims. Shop for your Gentle Monster sunglasses here.
Next it was K-Beauty, transforming the pop-in into Korean beauty brands. I am in LOVE with this Egg Mellow Cream by Too Cool for School. It’s made with egg yolk and is essentially a five-in-one firming moisturizer infused with collagen for that young looking skin.
And now, Nordstrom’s hosting K-Fashion pop-in – filled with colorful accessories and streetwear. Check it out today and share your thoughts on this K-craze!
