Party on the Bottom

I love this look! And totally agree on how a pair makes you feel. It’s so rewarding and makes you just feel so confident.

Question: how do you treat the red bottoms? Or do you?

    • Thanks Charlene! I know, it’s the best feeling ;).

Great question — because as you likely know, as soon as you wear them on any hard surface, the red gets scratched. I’ve talked with many shoe sales peeps about this and have heard mixed things. Most have told me to let it ride. Mr. Louboutin intended to have the paint wear off and I’ve read quotes by him saying “sexiness is when woman leaves a little bit of red “rosette” everywhere she goes”. I’ve yet to have mine treated however I’ve been told that if I did want to get the red repaired or touched up, to go to an experienced cobbler that has worked on Louboutins before. I’ve read horror stories of the soles being repaired in black — I’d die! So, my advice would be keep rockin’ em as is! 🙂

Ah, this is great! I’ve heard and been encouraged to wear them as-is, so that’s what I did with my first pair and will finally wear my Pigalles on non-carpet. 😉 Thanks, lady!
